Crazy Hope the concert has come and gone for 3 days now. What a night it was! The music, the photography, the dancers…the sold out theatre felt more like a living room where we chatted, sang some songs, shared laughters and a few tears…
For the last 3 days, I kept feeling like I should write: a new blog post, a new Facebook note, thank you emails, etc…but I resisted the urge to write just for the sake of writing something. I wanted to wait…until the memories and feelings settle into thoughts, and allow thoughts to simmer and incubate into words…
So I went back and read all the encouraging emails, messages, comments that you sent…among them, one common theme stood out this time: Quite a few of you said the thing you enjoyed most about the show was its authenticity and sincerity.
Thank you for that reminder! Moving forward, I want to take time to grow, to think and to write more. I want to produce writings and create music that encourage and inspire all of us to become better people and to create a better world. I hope the next show we do, whether it’s next year, or in two years, or whenever it may be, will feature music, stories, lessons learned that are truly my own: authentic and sincere. But whatever shape the next show will take, I hope it will be characterized by the same authenticity and filled with the same hope we all experienced Sunday night.
The concert may be over…but hope continues….crazier than ever
Thank you!
